Project Overview
The US 50 at MD 589 Geometric and Safety Improvements project constructed a second left turn lane to ease congestion, improve safety, and manage stormwater serving residents and visitors to Ocean Downs Casino. RAUCH provided field inspection, construction inspection, and as-built report services per MDOT Design-Build Manual standards. RAUCH also provided survey stakeout, inspection, and certification for the eastbound US 50 corridor from MD 611 to the Sinepuxent Bay bridge, including a 10-foot wide ADA-compliant bicycle-pedestrian path.
