RAUCH partnered with ShoreRivers, the Center for Watershed Protection, Caroline County, and Unity on design and construction of stormwater management practices for the Jonestown community, a historically and culturally significant, predominantly African American community established by free African Americans before the Civil War. The 110-acre project area includes 80 homes, two churches, and a community park. Project components include conservation grading, grass swales, downspout re-directs, rain gardens, and native conservation plantings.
