Project Overview
Talbot County engaged RAUCH for a Preliminary Engineering Report and Environmental Report to determine the feasibility of eliminating 146 septic systems in the villages of Bar Neck and Fairbank near Tilghman Island. Many properties have drain fields penetrating the groundwater, with most houses within 500 feet of the Chesapeake Bay and Choptank River. The PER evaluated options for connecting to the County's regional wastewater system and included a present worth analysis for state and federal funding applications.
