The Cottage and Duplex introduce well-crafted accessory buildings to the historic Primrose Apartments in Easton, Maryland, replacing outdated and substandard structures with high-quality, context-sensitive housing. The Cottage features an efficient, modern layout with a first-floor kitchen and living area complemented by a lofted bedroom and bath. The Duplex provides flexible living options, including a one-bedroom/one-bath unit on the first floor and a spacious two-bedroom/one-bath residence occupying the upper two floors. Designed with careful attention to context, both buildings reflect the vernacular architecture of Easton's historic district, with detailing and scale that harmonize seamlessly with the surrounding neighborhood.
